Blank DVD discs for data storage

Blank DVD discs are so commonly used across the globe. Till the time pen drives had not been in use so much most people could not do without a blank DVD disc. A DVD is in some ways much better than a cd. The capacity for storing data is much more than a cd and the quality of the picture is also better than a cd. These are readily available in any shop and are inexpensive products. A blank DVD is so much in demand because it is blank and we can easily store any kind of data we want to.

DVD is mostly used for recording videos as they give a better picture quality and resolution. A DVD has a capacity of GB or more and therefore more than a 100 minutes. We can store any kind of file such as an audio or a video file or a simple word document too. Instead of buying a single DVD we can buy a pack of DVD’s which proves to be cheaper in the long run. In most offices too these are bought in packs as they are used often.

DVD’s can be both rewritable and recordable ones. In a recordable DVD we can insert data but cannot erase it but in a rewritable DVD we can remove the data as many as 1000 times. a rewritable DVD is more useful as we can use it and then remove the data when not required and then use the same blank DVDs again.
